Religious Education

St. Vincent de Paul Church Religious Education is for any youth and their family!

We strive to provide a Catholic Education in a personal and welcoming setting here at our parish. We seek to do this through catechesis, service, liturgy, worship, and more.
We know that parents are the primary Catechists for their children and we strive to partner with each family we encounter to walk with them on their children's faith journey.
It is our promise to love them first and teach them second.

St. Vincent de Paul PSR (Parish School of Religion)
is held on Monday evenings during the school term 6:30-7:45PM in our school building.

PSR is for all students in our parish or surrounding areas in grades 1-8. We use the series Pflaum Gospel Weeklies to incorporate the Sunday Gospel message into our lessons with age appropriate catechesis, liturgical practices, and other ways to learn and grow in our faith.

First Communion is available to students in grades 2 and above with at least a year of Catholic education.

Confirmation preparation begins in the 8th grade and above. It is held annually and is done with the inclusion of our sister parish St. Francis Cabrini.

For our smallest parishioners, we have Sunday School PSR held during our 10AM Mass in our Kindergarten room. This for children ages 3-6. We use the same Gospel Weeklies and learn about God's love through the help of song, play, crafts, and friendship.

Cost is $40/student (covers all materials and special events) or $100/max a family. NO ONE is turned away for inability to pay. All Families are welcome.
